a tale of 2 tortoises

Yippee... bought 2 tortoises today... turned out they r rather cheap... only $3.50 each. Wud have taken photos of them but lent my precious digicam to someone else... will take snapshots shots of them 2 once i have my precious back in hand. this will be our first real effort at keeping pets as a couple.

should i go watch infernal affairs II? was so excited about the tortoises i skipped the movie, now i'm having second thoughts again.

was lamenting yesterday to my beloved alien about how beautiful life was when i was a teenager, would skip cg at the excuse of exams, wkends were happily spent watching people play captain's ball. planning for combined cg mtg games was a fun thing to do... no cares about how to run cg, no conflicts with my cg leader over our different workstyles (i probably didn't even have a wkstyle then)... no conflicts in ministries... it is a real mystery why it is always the same bunch of people serving in church. are we just too timid to let new people take over? or are there new people at all? mysteries... haha... so many things to do so little time... how do i serve and balance a full-time job? still trying to figure that part out... *hommmm*
